Nope,
You do not need to be experienced with linux to join the group.
But please do observer proper net-etiquette. Reply to the list
and not reply directly to the person. Your questions are not unique but by 
answering or asking stuff off-list means nobody but you benefit from the 
questions or answers where doing it on-list means that many more may benefit 
from the process or others may also chime in and help out with possibly 
better answers. These lists are a one to many form of communication

The group meets once a month. We have missed a few meetings cause of everyone 
being so busy but we get together the first Saturday of every month.
