Happy holidays, -Eddy Mulyono From tek at pervasivenetwerks.com Mon Dec 25 21:35:41 2006 From: tek at pervasivenetwerks.com (Timothy Tuck) Date: Mon Dec 25 21:38:02 2006 Subject: [Penguinheads] Merry Xmas and Happy New Year Penguinheads Message-ID: <200612252135.45294.tek@pervasivenetwerks.com> Well the Holidaze are almost over and the new year is just lurking around the corner. Lots of new years resolutions to be made, some will last others... others will be broken. Lots of people are cleaning out things and we are no different. i am currently working on upgrading the linuxdojo website from the Mambo Content Management System to the Joomla Content Management System and have just finished doing this for two of my other sites. With all the work i have been doing in Joomla as of late it seems like a great time to share some of this knowledge. Joomla has some seriously sick features once you really get into it. Some of it built in, others by adding in other componenets, modules and mambots. Like a Versioning system for your content, Newletters and advanced Web Statistics and many many more. So January 6th, if you have the need or the desire to built a seriously impressive and professional website this is one dojo you will not want to miss. Like to see some of what we are going to show before hand? here are a few links from my Company Site which i just finished doing a massive upgrade to last week. try resizing the page and click on the bars to see just some of what we are going to show. http://pervasivenetwerks.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=61&Itemid=33 http://pervasivenetwerks.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=71&Itemid=42 Hope to see you all there. I want to append my public SSH key to /home/$USER/.ssh/authorized_keys of many hosts. $ scp ~eddy/.ssh/id_dsa.pub user@victim:/home/user/.ssh/eddy_id_dsa.pub $ ssh user@victim 'cat /home/user/.ssh/eddy_id_dsa.pub >> /home/user/.ssh/authorized_keys' I spend a bit of time Googling around to no avail. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only who need to do this. Have any of you run into this situation? If so, do you use any tool to automate this "key distribution"? -Eddy I got my python-pexpect and tentakel ready.
