That's a great question. I'd like to know the same thing. Currently I pay $40 
for basic ADSL. It's slow and lame, and I know there is better now.

What do you guys have? Have you heard of any good deals?

My buddy in Jersey has digital cable plus Internet and has is XP Media Center 
Addition hooked up to it. It's pretty sweet. I'd love to do the same with Linux, 
though, of course, his bill is $140 a month. ;)

I know SBC has $30/month deals going, but that's only for a year, with a year 
contract.

What is cable Internet like in the area? I guess you get it through Comcast. Do 
we have digital cable yet? Is it just as pricey?
